Every Burco mirror replacement carries an install code. Find your code, follow the nine step-by-step methods, watch the full-size video and print the instruction sheet.
Which method do I need?
The install code is printed on the packaging and on the product page. If yours is missing, match the symptom below.
A: Fit over — adhere the new Redi-Mirror replacement onto the existing broken mirror.
B: Drop fit — remove all existing pieces of broken mirror and adhere the new glass to the existing backing plate.
AB: Fit over or drop fit — either method works; reference your preferred one.
C: Heated — remove the broken mirror, disconnect the heating wires from the old element, adhere the new replacement to the existing backing plate and reconnect the wires to the new terminal leads.
D: Gasket fit — remove all existing pieces and fit the new mirror into the gasket.
Codes 1 to 5 cover removing the old backing plate before the new assembly goes on: snap tab (1), slide tab (2), upper hook lock (3), lower hook lock (4) and ball pivot (5). Each has its own video and step sequence.
Most mirrors install with the fit-over method (code A). If your replacement has a gasket, use code D. If the mirror is heated and the old glass must come off, use code C. Still unsure? Call 1-800-253-2593 with the part number.
